SUMMARY:GOLF TOURNAMENT NAINITAL 2019
DESCRIPTION:GOLF TOURNAMENT NAINITAL\n17th Governor’s Cup Golf Tournament 2019\n(24th\, 25 th & 26th May 2019)\nThe Raj Bhawan Golf Club\, Nainital is organising the 17th Governor’s Cup Golf Tournament-2019 on May 24th to 26th\, 2019 at Raj Bhawan Golf Course\, Nainital. \n  \nAbout Raj Bhawan Nainital Golf Course \nRaj bhawan Golf Course was developed in the year 1926\, The course itself is a connoisseur’s delight. It is a shortpar 61 course with the regulation 18 holes and 18 Tees covering a distance of about 3.2 kms. What the course lacks in length makes-up for the other technical challenges including the use of browns instead of the obligatory greens on 13 holes. It has combination of Greens and Browns. Preferred lie is permitted in fairways. Added to that the fact that on many holes one is driving up or down a hillside with no possibility of sighting the hole till the very edge of the green and one begins to treat the course with the respect it deserves. Set in a lush and pristine mixed forest\, the course is also a nature lover’s delight with many rare and endangered species of flora and fauna in residence.  \nRead About Governors House Nainital

Separated from Uttar Pradesh\, it became the 22nd state of India. The state is all set for the biggest event of the year\, the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The principal players in Uttarakhand’s political playground are the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress. The state’s only prominent regional party is called the Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (UKD) and it will be contesting in all five seats. SUMMARY:Barefoot Walk To Save Nainital
DESCRIPTION:BAREFOOT WALK TO SAVE NAINITAL\n3RD JUNE 6:00 PM\, \nFrom Gandhi Ji Statue\, Tallital to Pt. GB Pant Statue\, Mallital\nSilent walk. No slogans. Only placards. \n  Sign & Share the Petition : Barefoot Walk To Save Nainital \n \nThere was a time\, before the Raj discovered Naini Tal\, the town and lake was considered holy and so revered that people would take off their shoes before entering town. We’ve come a long way since\, from reverence to devastation.\nThis needs immediate action from all of us. All people connected to Naini Tal by living\, by memory and by heart. \nObjective: We are people. We are not the government. We are not against the govt. and will fully support it. As people we want the Govt. to take concrete decisions and actions. Decisions that have immediate and visible impact. Because time has already run out.  \nEach person in the march is there only as an individual and only for the cause. Not an officer\, businessman\, politician\, organization or group. \nWorse\, summer is coming and with it an entire year of burgeoning tourism. \nSome non-technical suggestions. Remember- We want the experts in the administration to make decisions. As people we want to see timebound and visible progress and effects. \n \n – Clear illegal construction at Sukha Tal to renew the sub-surface inflow which contributes 53% to the Naini lake- by June end \n– Regulate number of vehicles to be allowed into Naini Tal on long weekends and from June- Aug. MAYBE BAN ALL VEHICULAR ENTRY- Only local registered taxi’s allowed up from Haldwani/ Kaladhungi.  \n– Only registered local citizens cars allowed. Verification and issuing of stickers can be achieved in 1 months time- by June end \n– Ban plastic. Only paper and cloth bags- not even plastic fiber passing off as cloth. Apart from merely announcing it three times- Immediate \n– Rain water harvesting by all hotels\, hospitals\, schools and any large pvt. public institutions. Can be achieved in 3-4 months \n– Solar power subsidy and implementation across all pvt. and public. institutions even households. Subsidies and funding can easily allow for payback by needy individuals over a longer period of time  3-4 months \n– Tree tax- compulsory Rs.100 contribution by every tourist and resident (per month) for planting trees beneficial to the local flora and fauna- Immediate \n– No new construction- Immediate \n \nPardon the amateur inputs and we also acknowledge the vast work and rulings that are already in place. However\, if there’s a rule for everything and the lake is still drying then nothing’s happened. Simplemente! \nDeclaration: In this effort\, some people are experts and have done a lot\, some want to start. Yet we’re all equal. I’m not an expert nor very well connected\, influential\, lineage to any political party or intend to gain anything for myself. That’s why reaching out because we all feel for the lake and the town knowing there are many here who have already been active in conserving Naini. It’s just that we need to get more active with a deadline!  \nTill the locals don’t feel for their town\, anyone can come and spoil it. We’ve allowed this to happen. We are to blame! No lake no business! \nEveryone needs to sign the change.org petition by June 3rd. \nThis petition will be delivered to: \nTrivendra Singh Rawat (Chief minister uttarakhand) \nSign & Share Petition:- https://www.change.org \nCredit:- Vikram Arya
